AngloFile™ Presents: Teacher Tips

Many of the AngloFile™ activities offer an option for a student to include their teacher's email address. Generally, these are activities that include a writing component that cannot be machine corrected, but instead require evaluation by an instructor.

With a copy of the student's results, the instructor has an opportunity to follow up with additional detailed and personalized feedback of a sort that a computer could never provide.

SUGGESTED PROCEDURE:

Teachers should familiarize themselves with any activity before making it an assignment. A quick preview should be enough in most cases.
Introduce students to the general topic of the activity and direct them to the URL of the page where they should begin.
Be sure to remind students to fill in the email address fields completely and accurately (results sent to partial email addresses will be lost).
Teacher email copies of student results can be evaluated and sent directly to the students by using the "reply" function of most email software.
